WHAT IS A PERMIT EXPEDITOR?

A Service that Creates Time for You

Expedite The Diehl provides full permit procurement and permit acquisition services to include assimilation, correlation, application and submittal of all permit documents. We use a superior tracking system that allows us to efficiently monitor all permits that are in process. We provide routine updates to our clients and follow the status of the permits from submission to issuance.

What Does It Cost to Hire a Permit Expeditor?

Permit expediters typically charge by the hour and they will often itemize their charges from printing, to postage, to shipping, to document prep, to travel time, to project management.  Expedite The Diehl does not itemize. We work in flat rates and you know the rate at the start of your project.  When an Expeditor is brought in early, at the start of your project it can save you time and money,  giving you an opportunity to budget for the permit procurement up front.

Do you need a sign permit?

The code research process can help you determine which types of signs will require a permit.  The answer is “yes, most signs require permits” and most of the time modifying an existing sign will also require a permit. Some municipalities even require annual permits. Ignoring the need for a permit can be very costly and it may result in legal action that can be taken by the municipality for the zoning violation. ETD encourages you to have a code check performed so that you can be certain of which signs would require a permit. Sign permits are typically required to be painted, erected, suspended, altered, rebuilt, enlarged, extended, relocated or installed.
